Hi,

Question-serious answers only please!!!

I have a P1 rating on the aircraft I fly and have it on my JAA(uk) license as P1.I however fly as an FO for the company I work for, and P2 on my license for the country i operate under.

I do NOT log PIC as I'm not(named PIC i fly with goes in PIC column)..... but can i legally log the flying legs i do as P1 and the non flying legs as P2 in my JAA log book(the only log book i have-CAP 407).

I would appreciate some advice as i am getting contradictory information on this.If you could give me a ref i would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Is the aircraft you fly certified to be flown by 2 pilots?

Hi Ozy,

Thanks for that-pretty much as I thought-if annotated as P1 u/s do i need the PIC to sign? The only ref's-prior to yours was in Lasors-but doesnt mention signature unless under PIC u/s.
Interesting that UK JAA does not issue P2! That would explain the area of confusion I was in.

Thanks again.
