During my career there as always been rumours of certain airlines being a front for illegal activities. Money laundering, investments by curious overseas holding companys etc.
I'm just thinking, with the US anti-terror financial investigations starting to unravel complex multi-million dollar investments from Bin Laden and his friends. Could it be that freezing of this money has led to the problems that we have seen in our industry?
ie. If the investors are being lent on, are they starting to look at taking their money away and hiding it under the bed until this blows over?
