I got about 10,000 hours, rated on 747 classics and all 737's, nearly 5,000hrs night, lots of hours of all sorts, lots of varied experience all over the world.
Do ya reckon I've got a chance?

Mate, after being with the mob I've spent the last seven years with, I'm half thinking about going back to Metros.
I just want to come home, not hugely fussed what plane I fly.

Wheeler,
With your time there are some excellent opportunities in the corporate world that will give you more time at home (on bulk) than most airline positions. Look around old son. The market changes in some areas are very attractive. And some pay way better.

I agree with ol 18. I don't give a rat arse what I fly, just the dollars that come in.

Filled out the Application a while ago and had the 500 hrs thing in there. i.e not multi command. Proffering for talent i guess but still cherry picking the best.

So why can't i get a go with nearly 5K hrs (4.7) and >2K ME, with application in with them for 5 years and current. Update every 6 months? Am I over qualified...?

SUC et al, know of a couple of blokes mid to late forties, 5-10k hours no jet time who have interviews. Don't think your over qualified.

Nah, just curious to see if they had some sort of only hire < x amount of time they once had.
