A friend of mine who works with Air Malta told me that an upcoming Union / Management decision regarding flight crew pay could see a new surge of pilots leaving the airline - any truth to this? a few months a go they were advertising for A320 F/O's with no hour req.
my understanding is (please correct me if I'm wrong) that they only recruit Maltese nationals hence the requirement for an O level in Maltese - I guess this doent stand if you are type rated as I know a guy that got in with a 320 TR but zero hours on type and no maltese O level.
whats happenign over there? I remember not so long ago Air Malta was a pretty good place to work??!!
