Is there anybody out there in the UK that runs a course for nervous passengers, including a flight?

We have a grand-daughter who wants to fly to OZ, never been on an aeroplane on her life, very nervous about flying, mother not much help!

BA and Britannia used to run them years ago.

Thanks in anticipation

Maximum Pete, re your query on courses for Nervous Passengers.

A company called `Aviatours` I think still run courses in conjunction with British Airways, not sure just what is involved, but their web site is
www.aviatours.co.uk, contact telephone number 01252 793 250. As this is run in conjunction with BA, I would have thought it good value & certainly worth a look at.

Hope your Grand Daughter enjoys her flight down under, I am moving that way permanently later this year.

Would be interested to hear how you get on thanks.

Best of luck.

Many thanks for the info.

I've a feeling this is going to cost me a fortune if she likes it!

I can only suggest you ask my brother. He's on here as 'fantom' and certainly used to fly them out of Gatwick.

Good luck!

Depending on your daughters(and grand daughters) age, she may benefit from a short course of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)- may be worth asking your GP for help.:)
