Can anyone tell me if there is a source where i can get a C-152 Pilot's Operating Handbook free?...preferably online (pdf etc.)

Borrow the one out of the aircraft you're flying and photocopy it?

Do a search on abebooks, there are loads. So may it is worth persisting with your search to find the right year for the aircraft you will fly. I bought a very tidy copy for $5 and because I was in a hurry paid another $15 to get it quickly from the US. I think from memory that translates into about £12 which is fine by me. Last year I bought one for a Warrior. These are the genuine manufacturers POH's

.. be wary of pinching the local copy ... have you checked its status validity ? .. quite apart from the copyright aspect of things.
