Does anyone have any images of the spar mod being done or any related images of the factory kit and the finished underwing appearance ?

I would be grateful to see what is required before we decide where our aircraft is to go to have it done.

Thanks all.

Thanks very much I am looking for a place to take my aircraft to have this ridiculous mod done, looking at the photos shows how unecessary this is !

Best wishes

Not sure everyone has it done the way shown on the above Site.

We had an aircraft done by AKKI at Turweston (UK) and I beleive the fuseleage was separated from the wing and tipped to alow access. Don't remember such large repairs under the wing.

Hi,
I'm about to buy into a DR400/160 group - is this a recent mod or an AD? Can I look forward to a large bill which has so far not been aired, or is this mod likely to have been done already?
Thanks

The current AD covering this is EASA 2007-0071 this superseeds EASA 2006-0347-E & DGAC F-2003-348.

Thanks, the AD should have already have been done then I guess, as it's currently flying and recently (April) had its annual.

The AD might not been done as there is a transitionperiod of several years depending upon the age of your aircraft
