Morining all,

Just had a phone conversation with a friend who flew in on FR1968 from DUB to DSA yesterday, and they were telling me the aircraft made 3 approaches into DSA before finally diverting to Manchester where it finally got in on the 2nd approach. No announcement was made to the pax regarding a technical issue, seems a little strange as the weather was ok yesterday, odd shower passing through but nothing to bad. Anyone any further news??

Cheers

maybe they were doing 'touch-and-go' s with young FO's. Or they forgot to offload the pax before next sector.:hmm:

A new batch of the never ending story that are FR FCIs were amended between each approach and required a go around as pretty much everythign has been forbidden or restricted. True story.

Looking at the weather for the last 36 hours, the wind did peak at 14 kts at one point so it was probably out of limits:)
