B737 pilot wants to get his FI ticket!!!

Hi guys,

Just wondering what the best method would be for me to get my FI ticket. I'm currently on the B737 and would really like to start doing some p/t instructing at my local club (they dont do FI courses). Problem for me would be the time as I couldnt really take 4-6 weeks off work to complete the course in one go...can you spread it out and any ideas where would be the best place to go, im in the midlands...or i would be willing to relocate for short periods of time, say 4 days at a time...

One of the schools at East Mids does the FIC. Not sure if they do part time courses to suit you but I do know that Lindsay Brown at Rural Flying Corps, Bourn Airfield near Cambridge will accomodate your time requirements and fit you in whenever you like. Call him on 01954 719602 and see what his schedule is like in the forthcoming weeks ahead.

If you're in the Midlands closer to Birrmigoom, try On Track Aviation at Wellesbourne Mountford. They specialise in part-time courses for FIs and have an excellent reputation.

Try Alan Cooper over at East Mids flying school at EMA. I think he's relatively flexible.
