No I've not gone mad!

Prune is my first port of call on this.......

My Grandfather In-law was shot down in his Stirling during WW2 over Germany. He was a rear gunner and has told me many a fascinating story. Not only would I like to find out a little about his crew/Sqdn, but I'd love to know if there is a Stirling bomber still in existence, or a rebuild/restore anywhere?

He tells me there isn't but I know what the wonders of Prune can do :ok:

Any info greatly appreciated....

Maz ;)

No Sterlings exist Maz. Bit and pieces of fuselage, but no whole aircraft. Unless anyone else knows different :E

Cheers...Chris

Thanks guys :ok:

Moose - I am gonna try and get as much info as I can (pending permission of course - Alf may not want me to - he is still alive and well).

I hope I can come back to you soon ;)

Best wishes
Lee :ok::ok:
