Strip near Hexam - Newcastle

Hoping to go to Hexam Races on Saturday....does anyone know if there are any strips near Hexam Racecourse in Newcastle, trying to avoid Newcastle because of the time schedule.....

Got a Cessna 182 so anything like 400m+ is fine.....Thanks in advance.

Try Currock Hill (http://www.northumbria-gliding-club.co.uk/ ). I've had a 172 in there before. They're very friendly.
