Dr Perry, an ex-spitfire pilot no less! Lives at 19 Cliveden Place SW1. He is a bit pricey, but you do get a comlimentary cup of tea! After all, most pilots are used to the £100 cup of tea, aren't they?

Not any more. Dr Perry gave up his London consulting rooms last summer, but still does medicals at Grately, just off the A303 very near Thruxton.

It used to be a 10 minute walk from home, but Grately is an easy drive (about an hour from SW3) so like most others, I've stayed with him.
There's a station at Grately. I haven't used it (except as a VRP for Thruxton), but I understand there's a good London service which takes about an hour.

He's still as much in demand as ever, so you'll need to book ahead.

an ex-spitfire pilot no less!He has many achievements in his distinguished career, but I don't think that's one of them. ;)

I've been looking into this as I've used Dr Perry just off Sloane Square for years but received his card before Christmas saying that he's closed his city based consulting rooms to work from home only - not quite so convenient for those of us gainfully employed in standard issue weekday 9-5 jobs FL!

This is the CAA link ('http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?catid=49&pagetype=65&appid=21&mode=list&county=London') you need.

I'm going to try the Bishopsgate based surgery as it's convenient and looks like they can sign off my FAA medical as well...
