I have a question on the Lear Jet. Who operates the controls for cabin pressurization and temperature? Is it a duty of the co-pilot, as it used to be on some of the smaller transports, such as the Martins?

On the -30 series the pressurization controls are within reach of both pilots whilst the cabin temperature controls are only just within reach of the captain.
Who operates what surely is a matter of SOP's. In my company the pilot non-handling operates all ancillary controls except those which are not within his reach.
What's a Martin anyway?

Mach Tuck - Thanks for the answer. A Martin was a twin engined airliner of the 1950's used by a few US airlines, including TWA. They had 2 models, the 202, unpressurized, and the pressurized 404. Similar to the Convair 240's, if I recall.

Hi guys,
In the LR-35 the pressurization and temp controls are on the Co-pilot side with the temp, A/C, and Aux heat on the right side of the column.
Only the cabin air and pressurization controls can be reached by the Captain.
