Evening troops,
Just a quick one - PPL license renewal, 12hrs are required in the second year of validity, 1 of which must be with an instructor - must however the remainder of the 12 hours be logged as P1 or can it be a mix of P1 / PUT???

Just curious, as I treat my PPL as a license to learn and would like to gain the experience of doing some aeros etc with the aid of an instructor (PUT) rather than circuit bash or do another landaway.

Thanks in advance :ok:

Watch out though c'se many of the best aero instructors are not FI, but of course they will tell you before if they know you need the renewal as well.

Personally, if you are really serious about aeros, get someone who knows their business and doesnt just deal in the odd bit of spin training and the odd elementary, teaching aeros badly in the beginning is a sure way to put you off.
