Hi everyone,
Am curious to know why the inflight start is limited to max alt of 300 on anA320.Is there any engine limit prevents a start above 300?
what about boeing?
appreciate all inputs

The air is thin and in order to get enough ram air to light off you would have to fly as fast as a ram jet at that altitude.
Nose it over pick up speed and denser air and all will be fine.
Note: the inlfight restart envelops vary greatly by engine spec.

For Boeing 738's inflight engine starts are assured only between 140-340 knots and upto flight level 270.Below 300 kts a cross-bleed start is required. above that a windmill start may be accomplished..
hope it helps..!!
