WT Separation Minima Australia (http://www.airservices.gov.au/publications/current/aip/enr/1_4_1-18.pdf)
Could someone please explain the implications of arrival and radar, displaced landing threshold and opposite direction with regards to wake turbulence separation minima. ie: how to correctly apply the standards and why they change.
eg: Why do the separation minima between a heavy and light aircraft reduce with a displaced threshold?
Where both a time and distance are prescribed is it at the controller's discretion to take either?
What exactly does arrival and radar mean? Simply arrival in a radar environment?
Does this table apply to all scenarios...ie: lead aircraft taking off, following taking off; lead aircraft landing, following taking off etc....
If i fit into arrival and radar and displaced landing threshold, which one is applied?
Thanks in advance
