flap 5 speed 180kts - 2.5 degrees nose up and 52 - 54 % N1
flap 10 speed 170 kts - 2.5 degrees nose up and 58 % N1
flap 15 speed 150 kts - 2.5 degrees nose up and 53% N1
flap 25 speed 140 kts - 2.5 degrees nose up and 53% N1
flap 30 speed Vref + 5kts - 2.5 degrees nose up and 53% N1

these are real good figures for a 3 degree approach and work just fine

Will these figures work out in the sim also? When flying the B737 do I need to use the trim a lot like a smaller aircraft? Any techniques?

KALHMEPA, It also depends which sim you are using. They are not always the same. The given rules of thumb are good, try them and see how the sim behaves, then adjust the figures for your own situation.

Hello Jimmy,

Check your QRH - Flight with unreliable airspeed - You will find lots of interesting informations.

Yes, it will also in the sim. Concerning airplane trimming, it is like in the smaller airplanes more or less... as you get used to the airplane you will find your own way to apply pitch trim when you need it.
