Seaplane rating at lake Como?

Has anyone from outside Italy done a JAA seaplane rating at lake Como? How did it all work out and was the rating straighforward to get into your license?

Also, did anyone do it on the Lake Renegade?

This might be better put on the Italian forum if you get no reply. I know there's a float Maule which recently turned up at Como.

Whatever you fly it is a beautiful place!
They also have a Cessna 170 on floats IMR
I recomend you stay in Como rather than further up the lake, you can get anywhere else by Hydrofoil
