Most will no doubt have seen photos of the heavies landing over Maho Beach on short finals to Princess Juliana Int'l Airport. (TNCM/SXM)
Although G.A. aircraft come & go, there is nowhere to hire a light aircraft at SXM.
There is another airfield on the French side of the island at Grand Case where I think light aircraft are availalbe for hire/instruction.
Does anybody have any details? I have searched and found nothing.
I want to fly over to St. Barthelemy (St. Barth's). I went in an Air Caraibes
C.208 last year, but want to try the approach for myself.
I am fully aware that the St. Barth's authorities require all pilots flying in to be checked out on the approach to this amazing airfield.
I guess that I may need to translate this and post on the French section, but just in case......
