Hi All,

I'm not having much luck with Google on where to get a POH for a 1976 C172M. I've found somewhere in the US (Essco) but just wondering if there's a defacto UK supplier of such info - or should I be contacting Cessna direct?

Many thanks,
S.

Try Westair at Blackpool - they got me one for a 1979 C172N

According to the Cessna web site the UK agents/service centres are:

Multiflight (http://www.multiflight.com)
Cse Aviation.com (http://www.cse-aviation.com)
Stapleford Flight Centre (http://www.flysfc.com)
Westair (http://www.westair.uk.com)
Wycombe Air Centre (http://www.wycombeaircentre.co.uk)

I know Wycombe and CSE sell Cessna singles, I'm not sure about the others, they may be just service centres.

I can recommend Essco in the US as they sell good condition flight manuals at a very reasonable price and can deliver worldwide (FEDEX?) at a very reasonable price.

They have their own website and also deal on EBAY.

Note that using "Flight Manual" is a more common term for POH and may get better results on Google.

The Flight Manual used to be part of the C of A; the owner held the original copy and the CAA held an identical copy for all UK Registered aircraft until EASA took over.

We have got various manuals through Aviation Parts Supplies at Lasham over the years (01256-381919). For a Flight Manual you will normally need the aircraft serial number and possibly the registration.

If it's a spare then not a problem, if it's to replace the aircraft original (ie if it's been lost) then the CAA have to stamp the front page.
