Does anyone have any information on this? A relative of mine was on board this flight and reported unusual activity followed by a very heavy landing and the aircraft was apparently escorted to remote stand at Gatwick by fire trucks. Any info please?

TOM6058 PMI/LGW 737-800 GCDZI

Engine 1 'fluctuating' (although not actually shut down) around about 2100.

A/C landed about 2125 on 08R (delaying the runway change slightly)

Looked firm touchdown from where I was stood although that was about a mile away and it was dark! (any one you can walk away from...)

Taxied under own power to stand 135 with fire escort (standard procedure for a full emergency such as this)

Edited to say that stand 135 was always planned for this A/C, nothing to do with the situation that arised later...
