Del Prado; you obviously don't realise it was designed by a FEMALE controller (Jo Turner). I don't know the full history, but I met her once at Shawbury, and she explained it was a joint idea with Noel Williams to commemorate the RAF withdrawl from RAF Luqa. I sent one to a friend of mine who was a despatcher with American Airlines at JFK; she stuck it to her clipboard and told me it created an immense amount of interest!

chevvron: You obviously didn't realise that the letter comment was TC topical.

Hmm: strange letters flying round TC are there. Course I wouldn't know cos your missus isn't here is she (assuming you know that!!)

I still have a white sweatshirt with the 'get them down safely...' writing on it, the pic is different to the one posted on here though. Similarly clad (or not clad) lady standing with legs apart over a phallic jet taking off.
Nice.Dates from very early nineties and if i remember correctly they were dished out at the 'get to know each other' week up in the lake district.

Frankly, it's always been a bit too corny to wear.

A bunch of these were made a few years back. Very popular until a colleague wore one during a visit by the Minister for Transport and his female entourage.

AlanM We have letters at ScACC but no one will tell us what it is about:confused: Is it a storm in a teacup or something much more juicy:=

There was also a civvy one. Same words but different pic. Dark-haired girl, blue background & distinctly civvy tower. I'd post a copy but my flight-bag won't fit in the scanner!:O

Don't forget to look for these (http://www.cafepress.co.uk/+remove_before_flight_womens_boy_brief,435243039) on your walk round.

Manchester Sub Centre did a similar t-shirt many moons ago - seem to remember it was white with a brown drawing of said lady getting em down. I believe West Drayton did a similar one and I remember being told that the way to spot the difference was that the Manchester lady had erect nipples - presumably due to the colder climate up norf!

Still got mine somewhere - if only I could find it.

I remember wearing it in one of my local pubs and being asked to put my jacket on to cover the offending lady up! :=

And there was one back in the early 80's from EGHH.

Southampton Air Traffic gets you down (and working there did, apparently)! :E
