Hi,

Just a curiosity question, but can anyone tell me if CRJs (200 - 900 series, and now 1000) have:

1 - Autothrottle?
2 - VNAV (I don't mean output by the FMS and followed manually by the pilots). Can you couple the autopilot to VNAV? ie - will the autopilot follow a VNAV profile?

Unless it's been retrofitted since I left the plane years ago..

1) No

2) No. VNAV is advisory only. It works exactly as you describe in
parenthesis
