From Dow Jones...
MANILA (Dow Jones)--An aircraft belonging to Philippine Airlines Inc. (PAI.YY) Thursday overshot a runway at a provincial city airport in the central part of the country, DZRH radio station reported.
The plane, which the report said was an Airbus A320, missed the runway while trying to land at the domestic airport of Tacloban City in Leyte province. No injuries were reported and all passengers have been accounted for and are currently staying at the airport's executive lounge waiting for their luggage, the report said. The airline has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
I think "missed the runway" is rather overstating it...

The main wheels are on hard ground but the nose wheels are on soft ground and buried for about two third. The NLG did not collapse.

Must be a real b*mmer to overrun the runway by such a small amount!! touchdown 50m earlier and it would have been a non event!

But who ya gonna tell!

There's nobody actually flying the airplane!

Airbus - we're all passengers, remember!
