Am not a pilot (obviously), but I do need to know how often an airliner has a C-check....
Airliner in question is an A330.
Is there a standard time period between C-checks worldwide ?
Same question re D-checks too.
Thanks in advance

Check interval is specified by the manufacturer.
For a 330 an A check every 600 hrs, C check every 20 months or 1400 cycles, IL check every 72 months and a D check every 120 months.

Just be aware that technically speaking, we do not have "C" or "D" checks on the A330 any more.
What you have are tasks that have a Flying hour, Cycle or Calendar interval defined for for them and no longer a check letter interval.
However most airlines will put them into a package and still call them "A", "C" or "D" checks.
Typically as pointed out by Slim, there are 20 month task intervals, plus the big ones at 6 year and 12 year intervals.:ok:
