Not sure this is in the correct section of the forum, but just wanted to praise the Captain really...
MYT 767 had a flat tyre at Trivandrum, the Capt. announced it as he had just come to rest after proceeding towards the runway.
I am gussing he was alerted by sensors from the wheels/tyres.
Anyways, pax unloaded after a short time and information afterwards was very good. The Capt. Doug, cannot remember his second name handled the situation very well, there was one idiot who was very vocal....Always at least one:rolleyes:
We flew the next day:D
The interesting aspect was the 'rumour mill' that had self generated in the airport.....It was very funny, everybody coming up with their own ideas and 'information'.......
Only interesting aspect for myself was a 737 - 800 was having a wheel changed next to us at the time we came back to the "stand". Seemed a little strange to have 2 aircraft with the same problem at the same time.
Anyways, big "up" to Doug for information supply, the only thing you need when you are in that situation.
