Hi Gentlemen
I'm about to start with a A320 initial type course.I have to find my own simulator (my own request).
My company has the authorizations for reduced hours according TM.
The training mgr. has told me that i need only about 20 hours of Sim ride according ICAO laws and the company manual.specially in my case since i complted two types in 2006. A310 / A300B4 .
Now here is my question ;
1) Is it possible to complete an initial type with just about 20 hours ?
And i also have to find a freelance TRE / TRI.
2) Is any freelance TRE is willing to take the skill test after 20 hours !!??:confused:

3) Is it feasible to do this initial type requirements first on a A330 and then followed by a backward CCQ to A320 ?

The reason for this movement is because i guess i can find a A330 sim with a freelace instructor already, but i don't know any A320 sim on top of my head yet.
Every experienced input and suggestions which it could show a practical way is greatly welcomed.
have a safe flight for Everyone.:)

I would be quite surprised as the the A320 series is quite different to the A300/A310.

Why not phone the CAA?
