Sorry for the late post, but before Christmas Fifth Gear did an article about a VW 4x4 pulling a 747. The 747 in question was different in that it had two engines on each inboard pylon and no outboard pylons.

What model is this and what is it used for?

Looks like it was the one used for filming in the latest Bond movie.

this 747 twin looks like a movie prop but a closer inspections of the engines, looks as if used for testing 787 noise and acoustic cowling.does anyone have more info on this bird?

It is definitely the Bond movie plane.
