Association of Flight Information Service Officers - AFIO

Does anybody know what happened to AFIO set up by John Daly about 10 years ago?
Does an equivalent currently exist to represent the interests of FISOs?
Is there a need to resurrect such an organisation?
What do the FISOs on this forum think?

FISO's can join GATCO as Associate members, that's all I know. Presumably there are some benefits such as a 'voice', but having said that, I represent GATCO on a CAA Committee and this committee has a FISO rep too (from Kemble)
