I know the topic of converting an ICAO IR to a UK JAA IR in Spain has been discussed intensely, and the quality of some schools there certainly leaves a lot to be desired. But there are schools over there with good reputation and training.
I've heard a rumour that, if you do your IR conversion in Spain, CTC won't look at you if you apply for their AQP. Is there any truth in this? Any people out here who have done exactly that?
And yes I know CTC don't accept any applications for their AQP at the moment.
