Varies I believe - no set number. Each course has a different number of people on it. My course had 45, the next one had 57 on it... There are 4 courses a year. I'm sure someone else will be able to give a rough estimate, but i would guess around 200?

I think they're trying for about 220 a year.

Big recruitment drive about to kick off in the national press, adverts will be appearing in The Daily Record and The Times today, the Belfast Telegraph on 12 January and the Guardian on 13 January, recruitment websites like Fish4jobs and Monster and at recruitment fairs.

If you're interested (www.natscareers.co.uk) you must be at least 18 years old at date of application, have five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths or equivalent and have completed a period of post GCSE study at a higher level through to examination.
