Hi,

I am a very experienced pilot with degree in Human Factors. I want to do some work outside my company as a CRM or similar instructor. I would be be keen for someone to tell me the process.

Cheers

You'll find everything you need in CAP 737. (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP737.pdf)

I am afraid the well meaning posts regarding CRMi courses and CAP737 will not help Savio3.... he is in Australia.... :hmm:

Australia does not have any formal qualification requirements for CRM, so I would assume your existing qualifications and experience would be sufficient, but then I am surprised you do not know that already... or perhaps you do...

I am living and working in the UK actually but haven't go around to changing the profile.

Thanks for the info posted in PM's but if there is any more info it is appreciated.

Anyone done the ITS or CTC crmi courses ?

Looking for a CRMI refresher course where I could get some good fresh new material.

Cheers

UK is only country at present to require CRM Instructors to be accredited and follow an approved UK CAA course.

Europe and rest of world do not seem to require such standardisation yet !!.

I understand that EASA/Jar will require CRMI and CRMI Examiners to be fully accredited under new rules next year similar to that in UK.

For good CRMI Core courses in UK look at Flight International magazine advertising pages under tuition.

Several courses advertised and all are approved by the UK CAA.

Any further information contact me off line.
