Apparently Buffalo Aws of Hay River & Yellowknife, NWT had a mishap so early in the new year...
Anyone with details on condition of crew, a/c, place and facts???

Apparently aircraft slid off the end of a strip with a load of fuel for a Camp. I have pics but i don't know how to post. Crew is apparently ok as far as i know.

Two stories going around, one is that the brakes failed and the other that they landed in a quartering tailwind and used up too much runway.
Quite the record, 4 DC4 wrecks in 4 years .. and they just keep going and going and going ... :ugh:
