I everybody. I´m currently doing the multi-engine course in P. SenecaV equipped with anti-ice protection. Not protected for all worst case scenarios but at least with the most kinds of situation
The problem is that i don´t know how to be aware of ice because i´ve never seen it. I´m worried that it becames to thick before I can get the chance of remove it.
Does anyone have photos that ilustrate or show the amount of ice that a Seneca can hold ? Or just a normal layer that won´t be armfull or that is usual but not stressfull??

There are plenty of situations where all those systems do is give you a 'false sense of security' - especially on light pistons.

In anything other than light icing, the systems are there to buy you the time to get out of icing conditions.
