Been looking at the forum tonight and thought it was rather serious.

It's nearly Christmas, so if you wanted to put a particular helicopter on your letter to Santa, what would it be, and why? ;)

One of these - for the same reason as I drive an Italian car. But it would have to come complete with a nice pilot until I got the rating :E :ok:

Cheers

PS - TFS, I hope you realise that there's no such word as "funner" :D

Not sure about that! Can we have some adjudication here please?

Anyway, the 109 Grand is prettier and I'm a girl so that's allowed!

Cheers

But words like "funner" are not! :p

An AS 350 B3 - its my dream helicopter haha. Its fast, cheap(er) to operate and has plenty of power: what more could a man want.

A grand and S76 are all sexy, but the operating costs of them :ugh: :yuk: :eek:

Would have to say a Bell 430 or a 429 and if santa cant fit it in his sack I would take a AS350B3 or a Eurocopter EC 120/130/135/145 (model doesnt worry me).

HAHAHAHA or all of the above.

Not sure which heli is much more betterest but the pirots in Aser's post would surely help most pirots with their election..... :}

Certainly, I'll provide it..

Since you are biased on two fronts..

Since we're on the gimme gimme gimme...

I'd like one Mi-26, along with type ratings for me and my 3 mates so we can fly it. I'd also like to win the lottery, so I can afford (just) to fly it home.

Happy Crimbles, you lot!:ok:

EC120 for Christmas. In fact, on the 9th December (one of the nicest days of the month so far) I did have one, for about 90 minutes, with the kids in the back with their cameras while flying over our house. Bloomin' brilliant!

MD500 - the fun-ner-est, for my fun side. :)
A Blackhawk for my wild side. :}
A S76A for my fancy side. :cool:

Ah Aser

Now you see why you should never operate a helicopter with 2 female pilots!

A pair of broken fingernails and the aircraft is grounded for the day:) !

Rather than Santa bringing ME a helo, I'm wishing he drops one off at my generous neighbor's. My neighbor is always letting me borrow various tools, etc, so I assume the same will apply with his new toy. Plus then, most importantly, I won't own the damn thing !

: Mine would have to be either the classic AS332L Super Puma or the Boeing 47-SD Chinook.
The old ones are always the best!!!:) :D :ok:

Someone should tell those girls that, if they want a manicure, they should start the blades first, then move their fingernails into the disk. :}

gazelle - fun and I could afford 2 run it

blackhawk - the idea of flying round fast at night at low level has a strange appeal (though no-one tell me mother I said that - yes mom, helicopters ARE safe... and I fly them sensibly... And yes, of COURSE I keep to speed limits... :hmm: ) lol

s-92 / aw139 - I think CHC would be more likely to consider me for what must be the best job in the world if I was also willing to supply my own SAR helicopter

Merry christmas everyone!

I don't reckon these two sweets ever had to sleep offshore with a bunch of Cajun oil rig hands in the GOM! Tell me there is a glass ceiling in the helicopter industry.:rolleyes:

I wrote Santa a letter last year, asking him oh so nice for a EC-135 to play with, but for some reason i never got an answer........
