Hi guys,

2 simple questions for you:

1) With the APU Low Oil pressure light illuminated (not during normal start), the APU will auto shutdown. Now, Can we try the restart?

The FCOM and QRH do not give details about that.

I know only that we can restart if:

- Fault light illuminated;

- Overspeed light illuminated (but not if that light is on due to the failure of the overspeed protection during its self test during shutdown.) and in case of Overspeed for RPM exceedance, we need to reset the APU OVERSPEED RESET switch in the E/E compartment.

2) Has the High oil temperature light on the Garret APUs the same function of the Fault light on the Sundstrand? I know it's almost the same but is it identical (my doubt comes from the name "high oil temperature" only)?

Thanks
Davide

1) No,you're not allowed to attempt a restart

2) It's similar,High Oil Temp lights up if you've >121°C,Fault light for several reasons and also for oil temp >124°C
