Hi guys,

I am doing some research for the future and i would'nt mind instructing. Probably a cpl/ir instructor. I have done a search on pprune and on google and i can't find schools that offer JAA CFI ratings. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers :ok:

Possibly the reason you can't find what you're looking for is because you're using FAA terminology. "CFI" over here means a Chief Flying Instructor.

What you are looking for as an FIC school (Flying Instructor Course) so that you can become a FI(R) (Flying Instructor (Restricted)). This document (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/SRG_FCL_APPROVEDFTOS.PDF) contains a list (at the bottom of page 6) of all of the schools which the CAA approves to conduct this course. Other JAA authorities might authorise other schools to run the same course too.
