I am looking for some advice; I have a ppl [tt 170] and would like to instruct. The cost of the training is not a major issue, nor is the potential earnings [or lack of them once qualified ]. The question is which is the better route,CPL or ATPL ground school ? Due to family comitments i will have to use the distance learning scheme. Do organisations like Bristol offer CPL aswell as the ATPL they advertise. What would be the dissadvantages of the CPL compared to the ATPL, I have no ambitions with regards progressing onto airlines as at 51 I am far to old! Thanks in anticipation.

Yes Bristol offer the CPL exams and if you have no plans for the airlines or getting an instrument rating there would be no point doing the ATPL exams, just do the CPL and FI course.

A flying schools dream employee! Don't let them take advantage though...
