Read all about it at:-
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/11/14/ms_firefox/

I especially enjoyed

"Proactively warns and helps protect you against potential or known fraudulent sites such as Google.com, blocks the site and shuts down your computer if necessary. The filter is updated several times per hour using the latest security information from Microsoft."

The same (or similar product) also available at
http://www.msfirefox.net/

where

"Firefox 2007's new TakeOver(TM) technology protects the Windows Kernel by automatically recognizing all McAfee and Symantec programs as viruses. Downloading has never been safer."

Have you been "brave" enough to actually try it? :uhoh:

LOL, Great one MP, i do get the feeling these days you have to be brave to try anything MS, or to be honest, download any of the MS Updates, each time i do, i get a new problem with my system...

I tryed some MS thing, and each time now i start a virtual drive up my system restarts to protect it, not really what i want it to do, a system restore was needed to uninstall the thing, dont know to this date what it was, may have been windows defender, or similar...

I have tryed Visa Beta, or Beta RC as MS call it, it seems to me like its going to have the same problems as XP, just be even slower, i feel like its more of a statement than a functional upgrade... Sure there are some good points...

I am more or less over on Linux now, so i moan less, but MS still is needed for so many things, like FSX =)

Please let me know how this software app turns out...

I assume every one is busy downloading this, so I thought I would cut and paste from the web site to give everyone a gentle hint.................................:p

MS Firefox 2007 delivers a dramatic boost in the download speeds of online pornography. By utilising a proprietary dynamic algorithm - anything that remotely resembles a tit or a boob will download up to 10 times faster. Fun at the speed of light!

Looks more like something written by a disaffected Windows luser.

"Firefox 2007's new TakeOver(TM) technology protects the Windows Kernel by automatically recognizing all McAfee and Symantec programs as viruses. Downloading has never been safer."

I see nothing wrong with that. Ever seen some poor schuck with Preloaded! Free! Antivirus! machine attempt to remove it?

Ditto.

It would certainly make http://www.primeminister.gov.uk/ spring to life.
