View Full Version : Aircraft Rental in Bulgaria?
Greetings
Hoping someone here will have any info whatsoever on renting light singles in Bulgaria, specifically in or around the Shabla area (e.g., Varna, Ruse, etc.) Alternatively, anything just across the border in Romania will do as well.

Now now, Bulgaria is not that bad, Im based 116NM from Sofia, but have not yet flown there as it is not part of the EU till Jan 2007, therefore a lot of paperwork is required, looking at some of the aircraft there it is not great, however a place called Air Sports seemed ok? Cannot find a link though, sorry.
Aside from that, Sofia has a great night life, culture etc and you feel safe, as they are joining the EU soon they are trying there best to clean up, therefore a lot of security is on the street.

Been there recently on a biz trip. Not a bad place at all, no idea about renting an a/c though. I did see a few SEPs on the apron at Sofia, so there has to be some sort of GA. Let us know what you find out!
