So can someone confirm the following
-The Tenerife will be on the 737-800 from Liverpool.
-The New York is not now to Newark but is on a 757-200
-That Globespan are looking at 737/757 dual ratings as per the Thompsonfly experiment.

Why look at dual rated B757/B737 when they already have B767 rated pilots who can all fly the B757 already?

The LPL/Tenerife is flying the 737-800.

The Liverpool base (dual based with MAN) is crewing for 737 and 767 aircraft.

Please at least make a stab at using appropriate capitalization and punctuation or don't post in Airlines, Airports and Routes forum.

Thanks,

Yes they can, all the crew will be trained on 757 aswell.

Wont be for a while though, has to be passed by CAA to be tri rated.

Erm bit of a contradiction, they can but they can't until the CAA says so.

God you try to give a bit of info on here and get attacked about it.

Not a contradiction really, once crew fly dual rated, then when the company applies for crew to be tri rated the CAA say yes or no.

For Alosaurus...

The licence entry is 737-300/900. What you will do is your initial OPC on the 737-300 for example. (if itīs an initial rating you then have an NG diffs course + couple of sims). You then only need x amount of line-sectors to get checked out on the 600, 700, 800. Then alternate OPCs cover the one you werenīt checked-out on. So if you join and your sim is on the 300 you will do Line Training Differences Training to cover the 6, 7 (when they arrive) and 8. The next 6 months the OPC will be based on the NG and vv the every 6 months. The amount of sectors you need for conversion and differences training depend on your experience.

It is a difference going from an 800 1 day with Vref 145kts to a 600 the next with a Vref of 110kts. (It encourages the sphincter-twitching moment at 3.5d when you realise you have another 30kts to lose and you cannae use that wee speedbrake lever)
