Good afternoon to all.

I have some questions about the BAe 146/RJ70 - 100 that I kindly ask anyone who could answer.
What is the average fuel consumption per hour?
Any of you have some figures for a monthly lease rate for the type?
Is it an aircraft to expensive in terms of maintenance?

Thanks a lot to all of you.

Take care

2000kg/hr in the cruise.

Add 600kg for a climb to the mid-hi twenties, then take off 100kg for the descent.

Hi Luibar.
I fly the 146.
Pretty nice plane, as long as you donīt have to pay for the fuel and
maintenance.
Itīs an old lady and wants a nice warm hangar every night and several mechanics, who put their hands on her.
As far as I know, the leasing rates are pretty cheap.
And for the regional business itīs one of the best planes.
Good performance on short runways, lot of room in the holds for luggage and
the Pax always think, that you are the best pilot in the world, due to the soft landings. :D

A conversation in a 146 cockpit.

Captain: Go ahead, start the APU.
F/O: Which one?

The RJ is a good enough aeroplane, but she does indeed need a mechanic every night and he'd better be good at fixing APU's.

Hi LuiBar

With the price of aviation fuel a bit more stable now, this aircraft is one of the best choices you can make to begin a seriously proftable business venture.

Think about it......
