I am planning to construct a “portable” aircraft hangar – of all steel construction, big enough for just one smallish aircraft – along the same idea as the mobile field shelter sold in the equestrian world it would not require planning permission based on – portable , sectional construction , no foundations – moveable by 4 x4
The plan is to offer an alternative to much sought after hangarage and all weather outside parking for smaller aircraft types , ie microlights, biplanes etc
These would be all unsightly , steel clad , secure, weatherproof aircraft “mini-hangars”

Does anybody have any experience with such a design ?
Is there any interest in such a design ?
I would appreciate some feed-back

I believe a number of companies already sell T-hangars.

The problem is usually getting the land to site them.

Movable structures are normally effective against planning enforcement but the local authorities regard them as provocative all the same and will have a go if they can. Someone did this locally with a stable, but he got a year of hassle.
