Hi,

Tried a search, but to no avail.

I’m looking to get my UK ATPL issued, and in the coming days will have an LPC.

With that said, does my log book need to be signed by my airline?

On the ATPL SRG1137 form with regards to 'All actual flying logbooks' it says "..with each page certified as true and signed by the applicant."

I've seen some guys get their logbook totals signed off by their airline CP or HofT to certify they are genuine. Is this actually necessary?

A letter from your Chief Pilot/Ops Director verifying your P1/S time, will suffice in lieu of every flight being countersigned.

I know people who have used a LPC for the purposes of the 'ATPL skill test' with no problems encountered.

The ATPL application form is one of the worst forms when it comes to the design and clarity of what they want you to fill in.
