Google is your best friend, 30 seconds to type it in come up with a minimum of 8 sites with good pictures

This one is ok, fairly well detailed but could be better, there is a small drop down menu called "table of contents" to select the part you want to look at, give it a go

I was just there. I'm trying to get some info for a friend (although I will also learn from it). I think he wants something along the lines of a technical drawing with labels. Any Ideas?

thanks for the tries so far though

How detailed does he want it? just the various parts labelled etc? or more technical?

Found these for now

This one is particularly good Clicky (http://www.geae.com/education/engines101)

This one gives a good overview of the various types of jet engine Clicky (http://www.ueet.nasa.gov/StudentSite/engines.html)

This one isn't too bad either Clicky (http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/propulsion/q0033.shtml)

Another Clicky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:DH_Goblin_annotated_colour_cutaway.png)

Let me know if these suffice or you want something more in depth
