Correct me if I'm wrong , but believe there is a MLS installed on 27R at Heathrow.
Is this still used and if so , how often . What does a MLS receiver look like in an aircraft, is it similar to a VOR/ILS one?
Is there different r/t phraseoly used when flying a MLS approach?

I believe LHR does have MLS but im not sure if it is still active, I think GPS/ RNAV approaches have pretty much killed it off.
The MLS antenna are small stub type about 1in/sq, different to your VOR/ILS, there are 3 located on a jumbo just behind the NLG doors.
