My Travel and Monarch ages

My son is looking to travel alone on a summer holiday to Turkey in August 2007.

Has decided he will stay at same hotel we have returned from this year as it was so good and he wants to do this in a DIY job booking the hotel direct and then just getting flights.

However, we have found only airlines that will allow a 16 year old to travel alone to Dalaman airport, Turkey to be Monarch Chartered and Excel.

Would like to confirm this and have views on which airline is better all round I am assuming at present it is Monarch chartered?

Absolutely no question - Monarch.

Flown with them twice, excellent both times.

Never flown with Excel, but suggest you just do a quick search on Excel in this forum (there's a stonker of a thread in the Mil forum at the moment) and make your own mind up!

Monarch Scheduled by a mile. Have flown with them twice yearly for a number of years and they are excellent.

Yes will be Monarch Charter. Monarch currently have no schedules to Turkey.
