 Saw an article which said the pilot held off very high in a 737 during heavy rain and blamed this on fogging of his spectacles. Anyone struck this problem of fogging up of glasses in a pressurised aircraft when flying in high moisture atmosphere? Or could it be a convenient excuse for a heavy landing. Certainly in unpressurised types like a Chieftain especially when taxiing in wet or cold weather but dunno about a 747 or other big jets.
