... Hello to everybody...

Me and my wife are planning to move to Vancouver BC within 3-4 years also know everything about sponsorship and work permitt ( Thanks to everybody who help me) now questions are:

-At the moment i'm still a student and casual worker so my experience is very few approx in 3 years i could have 1000-1500 hours TT my goal is to join a big Asian Airline ( CX, EK,SA, CI)
ARE ASIAN AIRLINE BASED IN VANCOUVER?
Is could be possible to live in BC and work for an asian airline?

Or... Where I can find minimum requirement to join a Canadian Airline...
according to airlinepilotcentral.com AC is Hiring... Do I need citenship?

and Citizen are advantaged?

cathay certainly has a Vancouver base BUT It will be hong kong first

Other non canadian airlines have pilots living in vancouver who use interline passes to "commute" to there required base. Knew a chap that worked for BA out of London but wife and kids lived in Vancouver. Seems less popular these days with most airlines getting more out of pilots duty wise per month than back in the day:eek:

As for major Canadian airlines you will need more than 1500TT to get a lookin
BUT you dont need to be a citizen to function as a pilot in any form.
You will need a work visa or be a landed immigrant to work though.
