Hai,
On their website privatair states that to apply you need 2000 TT minimum. If you fill in that you do not have 2000 hours yet, you are unable to proceed to the next page.
Does an insider know if Privatair maybe accepts a written application from someone with 1200 TT and 1000 hours A319/320/321 time? Or will it go into the shredder straight away?
Thanks for the info.

Are you ready to fly the same routes (long routes) over and over and over again? How many trips back and forth to EWR and ORD before you get really bored????

I know nothing about the requirements, but was was escorted and allowed to briefly visit the A-319 c0ckpit at Chicago O'Hare (ORD), gate E-7. The plane had only about 45 seats! Very nice leg room.

The FO was a middle-aged Norwegian guy, background unknown, the Captain former Sabena. They appeared to be mostly caught up on their button-pushing for the flight to Dusseldorf.

The Lead Purser was a young, beautiful, tall Dutch lady: heel mooi.

The friendly Gate Agent was also from another land.

@ Riker: I would rather fly longhaul only to EWR and ORD once in a while for a good salary and good conditions than working my ass off on 4 sectors per day with minimum rest and followed again by 4 sectors for half the salary wich you recieve with privatair!

They do have some particularly well selected Cabin Crew. That work very hard. I reckon a good company to work for. EWR and ORD can provide enough variation so you do not get brain dead.

Good luck if you have any doubts either ring them up or even better drive fly train down to the office and ask face to face. You will get a better feel for the company if you get a chance to look around the office.

Kia kaha (Good luck)

I do agree with your position as a whole....BUT, if you are flying airbus for a UK company, any UK company, you are not behind in pay me thinks....unless the guys are getting some sort of tax reduced/tax free pay....
